Chelsea’s struggles in the Premier League continued with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace. Cole Palmer gave the Blues an early lead in the 14th minute, capitalizing on a well-placed assist. However, a late mistake by goalkeeper Robert Sanchez allowed Jean-Philippe Mateta to score an 82nd-minute equalizer for Palace.

The result extends Chelsea’s winless streak in the league to four matches, raising concerns about their title ambitions. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace moved six points clear of the relegation zone and extended their unbeaten run to three games.

In addition to their form concerns, Chelsea faces injury woes, with defender Wesley Fofana potentially sidelined for the season due to a hamstring injury. Manager Enzo Maresca will need to rally his squad as they aim to regain momentum in the coming fixtures.
