Famous businessman, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has made a heartfelt appeal to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

In a video shared by Cubana Chief Priest, former Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha is seen speaking at the tribute night for the late Ifeanyi Uba, where he called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Okorocha appealed directly to Akpabio, urging him to facilitate Kanu’s release, believing that it would bring much-needed peace to the region and help restore stability to the Igbos.

Cubana Chief Priest echoed Okorocha’s sentiments, asserting that only Nnamdi Kanu’s release could restore peace in the South East. He highlighted that for nearly five years, many Igbos have been unable to return home due to widespread insecurity, which has resulted in numerous casualties and the destruction of properties.

In his own words, Cubana Chief Priest stated:

“@senator_akpabio, Those Plea From Owelle Ndi Igbo Is All We Ask For Our Dear Inlaw, Let OHAMADIKE Ndi Igbo, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Come Back Home Soon. It’s Almost Five Years Now We All Have Not Had Access To Our Home Town, Only His Release Can Restore Peace Back In Our Region. We Have Lost So Much Lives & Properties We Need To Build Back SouthEast ASAP Make Una Help Us. #FreeNnamdiKanu📌.”
