Residents of Lagos State in their numbers are purchasing 25kg of rice for a discounted price of N10,000 from the Nigeria Customs Service Zonal Office in Yaba.
The discounted sale of rice follows the Customs’ announcement of the commencement of the distribution of seized food items on the specified day.
In viral videos online, women and men were seen in an orderly scene patiently waiting their turn to receive the rice they had purchased.
