Daniel Regha drags Dremo for shading Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie

Renowned Twitter personality Daniel Regha has offered his critique of Nigerian rapper Dremo’s response to Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie’s recent diss track, “Brag.”

While Sarkodie’s song contained lyrics aimed at Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido, Dremo’s attempt at a diss track fell short, lacking the punchlines, delivery, and clever wordplay that define a effective diss track.

According to Daniel Regha, Sarkodie’s superior artistry and skillful lyricism far surpass Dremo’s efforts. He encouraged Dremo to prioritize his artistic growth and development, rather than engaging in diss tracks that don’t quite hit the mark.

In a separate post, Daniel Regha clarified that Sarkodie’s song did not contain direct insults towards Nigerian artists, but rather stated facts. He even gave Sarkodie’s song a commendable rating of 8 out of 10.

As Daniel Regha succinctly put it: “Dremo’s diss track for Sarkodie was underwhelming, with basic rhymes and no punchline or clever wordplay. Diss tracks aren’t for everyone, but Sarkodie’s superior artistry is undeniable. Hope Dremo focuses on developing his craft. No shades.”
