Davido, Burna Boy, Asake get multiple nominations at 2023 Trace awards

Global music powerhouse and Afro-music tastemaker Trace has revealed the nominees for the first ever Trace Awards in Africa, a live event and global TV spectacular that celebrates the creativity, talent and influence of African and Afro-inspired music and artists

The award ceremony takes place live on October 21, 2023 at the BK Arena, Kigali, Rwanda.
The awards is meant to cover the entire continent with music performances from artists showcasing the diversity of Afro-centric music in genres such as Afrobeat, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Afro-pop, Mbalax, Amapiano, Zouk, Kizomba, Genge, Coupé Décalé, Bongo Flava, Soukous, Gospel, Rap, Rai, Kompa, R&B, and Rumba.A total of 22 award categories are up for grabs to artists from more than thirty countries in Africa, South America, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean and Europe.See part of the nominations below:
