Nigerian music sensation, Davido, has responded with sincere appreciation after receiving an opulent Rolex wristwatch as a gift from Barcelona forward, Memphis Depay.

The exchange took place during a star-studded gathering in Spain, where Davido joined forces with football luminaries like Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann, Neymar, and American singer Chris Brown to celebrate Depay‘s birthday in grand style.

Taking to his Instagram story on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, Davido shared his thanks for the unexpected gesture.

Accompanied by a photo capturing the moment of exchange and a warm embrace with Depay, Davido wrote a heartfelt message expressing his astonishment and gratitude. “Nigga bought me a @rolex on his own birthday!!! I never receive gifts. I’ve always been the one to gift people! I love and appreciate you @memphisdepay… also, let me get some of that hair Lool,” he wrote.
