Nigerian music sensation Davido is lamenting the loss of his favorite ring, valued at a staggering N25,500,000. The unfortunate incident occurred during his recent trip to Jamaica, where the ring reportedly slipped off his finger and fell into the ocean while he was on a boat.

Davido took to social media to express his disappointment, sharing a chat screenshot with his jewelry vendor. In the conversation, the vendor inquired about the ring’s whereabouts, and Davido confirmed the loss, stating that it had fallen into the water.

Undeterred, Davido assured the vendor that he would commission an even bigger and better replacement, saying “i go pay, i wan do another one.”

In a caption accompanying the screenshot, Davido revealed his sadness, not just over the monetary value of the ring, but also the craftsmanship that went into creating it. His sentiment echoed the sentimental value attached to the piece, making the loss even more poignant.
