The title 5ive reflects the fact that this marks Davido’s fifth studio album. However, he hinted that there may be a deeper significance to the number beyond its obvious connection.
Following the success of his Time Trilogy—which includes A Good Time, A Better Time, and Timeless—Davido saw 5ive as the beginning of a new musical era.
As fans count down to the album’s release on April 18, Davido has amped up excitement with a teaser of his new single, Be There Still, featuring an infectious Amapiano log drum fusion.
