Davido to Feature on King Charles III’s Commonwealth Music Playlist in Apple Music Collaboration

Afrobeats superstar Davido has been selected to feature on King Charles III’s Commonwealth Music Playlist, a special project in collaboration with Apple Music. The playlist, part of The King’s Music Room, celebrates Commonwealth Day and highlights artists from across the Commonwealth.

The show is set to air on Apple Music 1 at 6 am on March 10, 2025, and will showcase a diverse range of musical talents, including Davido, Kylie Minogue, Bob Marley, Grace Jones, and Raye. King Charles will personally introduce the playlist, sharing stories about his connections to some of the artists and reflecting on the emotional power of music.

This initiative underscores the King’s appreciation for global music and the influence of Commonwealth artists, with Davido’s inclusion further solidifying Afrobeats’ growing impact on the international stage.
