Davido‘s much-anticipated O2 Arena concert has sold out well ahead of schedule. The organizers announced and opened ticket sales for the concert on January 11, 2024, and have sold out in just a matter of 6 days.

The mega superstar, Davido, is set to grace the stage in London at the O2 Arena and in Paris at the Accor Arena, under the theme ‘The Davido Invasion”.

The official O2 Arena social media account shared this exciting news. The King of Afrobeats took to his Instagram stories to express his joy, saying, “London…we soon reach”.

With a massive capacity of 20,000 people, the O2 Arena stands as one of the largest indoor arenas globally. This marks the third time Davido has achieved a sold-out show at the O2 Arena, following successes in 2019 and 2022. The second sold-out show in 2022 featured stellar performances from artists like Adekunle Gold and Mayorkun.

Davido’s 2023 album, “Timeless”, has become his most streamed album, surpassing his previous work, “A Good Time”; with a staggering 330 million streams, according to Wetalksound.

The album has earned three nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards, including ‘Best Global Album’, ‘Best African Performance’ for the song “Unavailable”, and ‘Best Global Music Performance’ for the song “Feel”.

The Grammy Awards are set to take place on February 5th, 2024.
