Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, widely known as D’banj, is gearing up to drop his highly anticipated new album, “The Entertainer: The Sequel,” on Friday, August 16, 2024.

D’banj made the announcement on Tuesday morning through his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, where he shared, “The Entertainer D’Sequel | Out 16.08.24,” alongside a thrilling teaser that hints at the involvement of Don Jazzy on the album.

“The Entertainer: The Sequel” is a follow-up to D’banj’s recent release, “Koko,” and continues to build on the momentum of his previous track, “Since’04,” which commemorated his 20-year journey in the music industry.

D’banj, often referred to as the ‘Kokomaster,’ began his musical career in 2004 after signing a record deal with Don Jazzy’s Mo’ Hits label.

His debut single, “Tongolo,” released in 2005, quickly became a hit across Nigeria, marking the beginning of his rise to stardom.

D’banj’s fans are eagerly awaiting the new album, especially with the exciting prospect of a reunion with Don Jazzy, who played a significant role in shaping his early career.
