Veteran Nigerian actor Dele Odule has dismissed false rumors about his death and alleged arrest, expressing frustration over the baseless claims circulating on social media.

In a video shared on Instagram, Odule condemned a blogger who posted his photo with the caption “RIP,” assuring fans that he is alive and well.

“There’s nothing wrong with me, I am very much alive. I don’t understand why someone would wish me dead. This is barbaric, uncalled for, and not fair,” he said.

He also refuted another false claim that he was arrested for child molestation, which included an image of him in handcuffs.

“For what? What is your problem? Are you alright? Don’t try to bring me down,” he said, questioning the motives behind the rumors. “If you come at me, you’re coming at God because you are not fighting me but God.”

Despite the challenges, Odule expressed gratitude to his fans for their support.

“I love you to bits. Thank you for being there always and for your concern about my well-being. I really appreciate it. God bless you,” he said.
