Famous Isoko highlife musician, Dr. Arube Otor, has stirred both intrigue and controversy with a bold declaration: he aims to father 32 children before his death. The 53-year-old artist, known as Isoko Fela, took a dramatic step toward this goal by marrying three women on the same day during a grand ceremony in Uzere, Delta State, on Sunday, January 18, 2025.
With the addition of these three wives, Otor now has four wives and nine children. He is determined to reach his target of 32 children and attributes his embrace of polygamy to the peace he experienced growing up in a polygamous family.
To maintain harmony in his large household, Otor has established a system where disputes are resolved in the presence of all his wives, ensuring that everyone learns from the process. Each of his wives has their own profession, including hairdressing, catering, and trading, which Otor encourages for their independence.
Despite his age, Otor is confident in his ability to fulfill his marital duties, thanks to his natural diet, which excludes rice and aphrodisiacs. He makes weekly visits to each of his wives to ensure none of them feel neglected.
While his polygamous lifestyle has drawn public attention, Otor is determined to realize his dream of having 32 children, despite any controversy surrounding his unconventional choice.
