The serving Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) in Equatorial Guinea, Baltasar Ebang Engonga, has become embroiled in one of the country’s most significant sex scandals.

Reports indicate that he was recorded engaging in sexual activities with multiple women, including his brother’s wife, a cousin, and a sister of the President of Equatorial Guinea.

This scandal erupted amid a broader investigation by national security forces looking into allegations of fraud involving Baltasar. Authorities discovered over 300 explicit tapes featuring him with various women, including several who are married.

These recordings, which took place in a range of locations such as his office, hotels, and public restrooms, were reportedly made with the consent of those involved and have since begun circulating online.

Initially arrested on corruption charges, Baltasar’s situation escalated when investigators found the explicit materials on his computer and subsequently leaked them to the public. Prominent social critic Martins Ortse, known as VeryDarkMan, played a key role in disseminating these videos through his Instagram account, further amplifying the scandal’s reach and impact.
