In a dazzling event held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah, a lawyer and model from the South-South region, was crowned the 45th Miss Nigeria.

The prestigious ceremony took place at the Royal Box Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, where Ogah stood out among 19 other semi-finalists, impressing the judges with her cultural pride and charisma.

After a rigorous competition, she emerged victorious, defeating four other finalists to claim the coveted title. Ogah was crowned by her predecessor, Shatu Garko, the 44th Miss Nigeria, adding a sentimental touch to the moment.

Expressing her gratitude, the 26-year-old beauty queen described the experience as an honor and a dream come true. Earlier, she had shared her aspirations on Instagram, stating, “It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to be given the opportunity to serve as an example to inspire and empower countless women and girls around the world.”
