Dr Abike Dabiri-Erewa Hosts Chief of Mission Nigeria, IOM, at NiDCOM Headquarters

Hon. Dr Abike Dabiri-Erewa, OON, Chairman/CEO Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), hosted Mrs Dimanche Sharon, Chief of Mission Nigeria for the International Organization for Migration (IOM), at the NiDCOM Headquarters in Abuja.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed in a fruitful manner ways to increase cooperation between NiDCOM and IOM for better management of migration, diaspora engagement, and support for Nigerians abroad. Hon. Dr. Dabiri-Erewa reaffirmed the strategic imperative of partnerships to address migration challenges and foster the welfare of Nigerians in diaspora.

Mrs Sharon commended the work of NiDCOM in advancing Nigerians’ welfare and rights both locally and overseas and added that IOM remains committed to sustained cooperation with the Commission to continue offering effective programmes.
