Rapper Drake’s downtime in Sydney was disrupted by an unexpected visitor – a mysterious drone. The incident occurred at his luxurious penthouse at Crown Sydney, where he’s currently residing during the Australian leg of his It’s All a Blur Tour.

A clip shared on Instagram by RapMusic showed the drone hovering on Drake’s balcony before being spotted by the rapper. Startled, Drake quickly grabbed a nearby orange slide and hurled it at the drone, narrowly missing it. The warning shot seemed to scare the drone off, as it flew away into the Sydney sky.

The incident sparked a flurry of comments, with some speculating that the clip was a promotional stunt for online crypto casino Stake, with whom Drake is partnered. Others poked fun at Drake’s slide-throwing skills, joking that he resembled “a single mother trying to fight a spider.”
