A hit-and-run driver who killed two road sweepers on Monday on the Gbagada-Oshodi Expressway has surrendered himself to the Lagos State Police Command.

The Lagos Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a chat with newsmen, said the suspect turned himself in to the police on Monday evening.

“He turned himself in yesterday (Monday) and he will be arraigned for manslaughter possibly today (Tuesday)”.

Beesreign Media had reported that the driver killed two sweepers employed by the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) as he was trying to escape arrest from officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
