Another winning goal from Ademola Lookman gave the Super Eagles of Nigeria a 1-0 win over Angola in the quarterfinal of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

Lookman finished a cross from Moses Simon to put the Eagles in front in the 41st minute after a fine team move.

Star man Victor Osimhen scored some seconds after the 70th-minute mark but was ruled out for a marginal offside.

As with other matches, the Super Eagles defended resolutely to hold on for the win and pick their 4th clean sheet in 5 matches. With other quarterfinal matches still to come, Nigeria has become the first nation to secure a semifinal spot at this year’s AFCON.
