Operatives from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested three suspected vote-buyers (two males, one female) in Egor Local Government Area
The arrests sparked outrage among residents, who claim they’re being victimized.
The EFCC had deployed operatives to ensure electoral integrity, vowing to prevent financial inducements.
“Vote-buying is a financial crime, and we won’t tolerate it,” said Dele Oyewale, EFCC spokesman.
