The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed 16 fresh charges against Yahaya Bello, former Kogi State Governor, at an FCT High Court. The charges allege fraud totaling N110.4 billion.

Bello, alongside Umar Shuaibu Oricha and Abdulsalam Hudu, allegedly conspired to misappropriate public funds in 2016.

This follows Bello’s absence at a Federal High Court session in Abuja, where he faced trial.
