The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed that Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, will be questioned regarding allegations of naira abuse.

The development follows the circulation of a viral video showing Tompolo at his 54th birthday celebration, where he was seen dancing as N1,000 notes were sprayed on him. The footage, recorded in April, sparked widespread debate on social media, with many Nigerians questioning whether the anti-graft agency would take action.

In response to public concerns, the EFCC issued a statement via its official social media channels, asserting that “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!”
