Eminem’s Mother, Debbie Nelson, Dies at 69

Debbie Nelson, the mother of rapper Eminem, whose complicated relationship with her son was reflected in much of his earlier music, has passed away at the age of 69.

Eminem’s representative, Dennis Dennehy, confirmed her death to US media. While the cause of death has not been officially revealed, Nelson had been battling lung cancer.

Eminem has yet to publicly comment on his mother’s passing.
