English Premier League: Arsenal and Liverpool Share Points in 2-2 Draw

The ninth round of the English Premier League saw Arsenal and Liverpool play to a thrilling 2-2 draw at London’s Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal struck first with Bukayo Saka’s goal in the 9th minute, but Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk equalized just nine minutes later.

Mikel Merino restored Arsenal’s lead in the 43rd minute, only for Mohamed Salah to level the score again for Liverpool in the 81st minute.

The draw propelled Liverpool to second place with 22 points, trailing leaders Manchester City by one point. Arsenal climbed to fourth place with 18 points.

Other matches included Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Newcastle, West Ham United’s 2-1 win against Manchester United, and Crystal Palace’s 1-0 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur.
