Naira Marley’s Marlian Records is facing fresh controversy after former signee Fabian Blu made shocking allegations about his time with the label.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Fabian Blu claimed he had not received royalties for the past five years and was never paid for his work. He alleged that when he threatened legal action, Naira Marley dismissed him.

The singer also detailed his struggles at the label, stating that he was labeled a “lazy artist” and sidelined due to his ethnicity and religion. He further claimed that he was introduced to drugs during his time at Marlian Records, describing the environment as “too gangster” for him.

Additionally, Fabian Blu accused the label of spreading rumors about his mental health after his departure.

His allegations follow a recent message from the late Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, to Naira Marley during her own interview with Chude Jideonwo.
