Following the death of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, the Federal Government of Nigeria has announced that July 15, 2025, will be observed as a public holiday to honor the memory of the former president.

The family announced the passing of the former President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday, in a clinic in London.

“President Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s head of state from 2015 to 2023, was a significant figure in the country’s political history, known for his military background and strong anti-corruption stance.
