Nigerian cleric Femi Lazarus has explained why he charges $150 for his school of ministry after being called out by singer Timi Dakolo over high fees in the gospel industry.

It would be recalled that the Abuja-based pastor had earlier criticized the high charges demanded by some gospel musicians for their services. In response, Timi Dakolo pointed out that Lazarus also charges fees for his ministry school.

A social media user, Deeemaths, questioned the cleric, asking, “But you charge $150 for your school of ministry? Please can you shed more light on it, sir? I thought it’s ministry?”

In his response, Femi Lazarus defended the charge, stating, “Yes o, it is a school,” implying that like any educational institution, payment is required for learning.
