The Femi Otedola Foundation has donated N5 million to the family of Sodiq Olayode, who recently welcomed quadruplet, bringing the total amount raised to over N24 million.

The foundation’s donation comes after an outpouring of support from Nigerians, who have rallied around the family through online donations.

The Olayode family’s story gained widespread attention on social media after a colleague, James shared their struggles, highlighting the challenges of caring for quadruplets.

The family, who initially expected a single child, was surprised by the arrival of two boys and two girls.

In addition to the financial donation, Femi Otedola has also offered scholarships for the education of two of the children to university level.

Sharing the news on X.com on Monday night, James wrote, “Guyssssssssssssssssss, Guess what ????

“#realFemiOtedola sent representatives to offer a ceque of N5m to the parents of the quadruplets and also he offered scholarship for the education of two of their kids till university. I’m in tears, guys.”

The donation cheque was presented to the family by Phillips Akinola on behalf of the foundation.
