A fire has destroyed the Lagos home of Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe-Adeoti, causing significant damage to property and valuables worth millions of Naira.

The actress was reportedly devastated by the incident, which she confirmed through a brief statement on her social media account. She expressed relief that no lives were lost, saying, “Devastated, I thank God no life was lost. It is well.”

The fire occurred just days before the premiere of her upcoming movie Thinline, which is set to hit cinemas soon.

The incident followed a recent career achievement for Aigbe-Adeoti, who received an award at the Odunlade Adekola Film Production Awards (OAFP). In a social media post after the event, she thanked God for the opportunities that have shaped her career.

Despite the setback, the actress remains focused on her upcoming projects and continues to reflect on her blessings amid the challenging time.
