Since his breakthrough in 2019 with his debut album, Fireboy has become a leading star in the Nigerian music scene.

On August 19, 2024, he took to his social media accounts to announce the release date of his highly anticipated fourth album, ‘Adedamola,’ set to drop on August 29.

The album comes two years after Fireboy’s successful third album, ‘Playboy,’ which featured hit singles like ‘Bandana’ with Asake and the title track ‘Playboy.’

Titled after his first name, ‘Adedamola’ signals a shift from the hedonistic themes of his previous work, suggesting a more personal and introspective approach.

The pre-save tracklist on streaming platforms includes the lead singles ‘Yawa’ and ‘Obaa Sima’ from 2023, as well as his latest release ‘Everyday.’

Fans eagerly await ‘Adedamola,’ hoping it will reveal a more intimate side of the artist who first won their hearts with the soulful lyrics and enchanting melodies of his debut album, ‘Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps.’
