Fireboy DML, a leading Afrobeats artist, has set the record straight on rumors of a rivalry with label mate Asake in a recent Max FM, Lagos interview.

He clarified that YBNL Nation, their record label, fosters a supportive environment where each artist has their unique path and coexists peacefully.

Fireboy emphasized the strong bond among label artists, including himself, Asake, and Olamide, their boss.

“There’s no competition in YBNL; everyone’s on their own lane,” Fireboy stated. “We can release songs simultaneously without issues, and there’s genuine love and brotherhood among us.”

He fondly recalled a heartwarming moment when Olamide and Asake helped him with his hair, showcasing their camaraderie.

Fireboy reiterated that YBNL Nation prioritizes music and livelihood over industry feuds, demonstrating the label’s commitment to unity and artistic passion.
