The First Lady of the nation, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has received members of the Nigerian women’s football team, the Super Falcons, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The reception for the Falcons come after their impressive outing at the FIFA Women’s World Cup co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, where they reached the Round of 16, before losing on penalties to England.

After their loss to England, the First Lady and her husband President Bola Tinubu both commended the Falcons for their valiant performance at the competition.
The First Lady reception for the Super Falcons come after she held a similar reception last week for the Nigeria women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, who won the FIBA AfroBasket championship.
