Flood: President Tinubu visits Maiduguri

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Maiduguri, Borno State, to offer condolences and support to the state government and residents affected by the recent devastating floods.

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Maiduguri, Borno State, to assess the impact of the recent flooding in the area.

The President’s visit comes after heavy rainfall caused the Alau Dam to overflow, resulting in significant flooding in the state capital.

According to reports, nearly half of Maiduguri was submerged in water, affecting over 23,000 households.
