A newly released video obtained by CNN shows Sean “Diddy” Combs physically assaulting his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, in a hotel hallway in 2016.

The footage, which has never been seen publicly before, contradicts Combs’ previous denials of Ventura’s allegations. The video shows Combs chasing Ventura, grabbing her by the neck, throwing her to the floor, kicking her, and dragging her.

He then shoves her into a corner and throws something at her before walking away.

Ventura’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, described the video as “gut-wrenching” and said it “further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs.”

Ventura had filed a lawsuit against Combs in November, accusing him of rape and physical abuse spanning over a decade, including forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes and using his powerful entertainment contacts to entrap her in the relationship.

The lawsuit was settled the next day, with terms not disclosed.

Combs has faced multiple lawsuits since then, alleging rapes, sexual assaults, physical violence, and “revenge porn” distribution.

He has denied all allegations, pledging to “fight for his name.”

In March, federal agents searched his properties in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex-trafficking investigation, but he was not detained or charged.

The release of the video has sparked renewed attention to Combs’ legal troubles and his history of alleged abuse.

Ventura’s courage in coming forward has been praised by her attorney, who said, “Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
