Taoreed Jimoh Adedigba, the former Chairman of Akinyele Local Government Area, died on Friday. The news was confirmed by a close relative, Olamiposi Ishola, who spoke to the Daily Post, highlighting Adedigba’s reliability.
Ishola expressed his grief, stating, “Good Night Egbon Mi, Taoreed Adedigba Jimoh. During your tenure, you reciprocated the love I showed during your campaign for council chairman.
You faced numerous challenges, both internal and external, yet you dedicated yourself to making a lasting impact on the Akinyele community. May Allah accept your efforts and forgive your mistakes.”
In related news, former Oyo State lawmaker Hon. Hamid Babatunde Eesuola has also passed away. Eesuola, who represented the Atiba State Constituency for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), died on Thursday in Ibadan after a brief illness.
At the time of his death, he was nearing the completion of his doctoral studies at the University of Ibadan’s Faculty of Education. He previously served as Chairman of the Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (OYCSDA).
