Former BBNaija contestant, Mike Edwards, wins first boxing match

Big Brother Naija star Mike Edwards expresses gratitude to his supporters as he triumphs in his boxing match debut.

It would be recalled that the runner-up of BBNaija season 4 ecstatically announced his entry into professional boxing, joining the Cruiserweight division roster on Misfits Boxing in Apil.

The eagerly anticipated debut has finally taken its course and Mike Edwards emerged victorious as he faced off against his opponent, Jake Cornish.

Following the match, he took to Instagram to express heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported him, with special mentions to those who played key roles in his journey.

He wrote: “Survive and Advance 🥊 A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support me and to all of you who tuned in from home. I hope I made you proud! ❤️ They say there’s no test without a testimony, and I truly couldn’t have done this without God’s will.”
