Funke Akindele’s ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ Becomes West Africa’s Highest-Grossing Movie, Earns N1.6 Billion

Funke Akindele’s latest movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa, has shattered records, grossing ₦1.6 billion at the box office to become the highest-grossing film in West Africa.
The announcement was made by Filmone, the movie’s distributor, on its official Instagram page, where they celebrated the milestone:
“A billy gang, we’re up! Everybody Loves Jenifa has grossed over ₦1.6 billion at the box office! We can’t thank you enough for showing this movie all your love.”
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Funke Akindele shared the news with her fans on Instagram. She expressed her heartfelt appreciation, giving credit to God and her supporters.
“Na God do am o!!!! I am so grateful to you all!!!! I no know Wetin I go write again!!!” she wrote.
