Leicester City has announced the signing of Jordan Ayew from Crystal Palace for a reported £8 million, plus add-ons.
The 32-year-old Ghanaian international brings a wealth of experience, having made 212 appearances for Crystal Palace, scoring 23 goals and providing 22 assists.
Ayew joins his compatriot Abdul Fatawu Issahaku at Leicester City, following a period of reduced playing time at Crystal Palace. He had attracted interest from other leagues but opted for the newly promoted Premier League side.
With a career spanning over a decade, Ayew has played for Swansea City, Aston Villa, and Sochaux, among others.
He will aim to make a significant impact at Leicester City and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season.
