Italian football legend Gianluigi Buffon has tied the knot with longtime partner Ilaria D’Amico in a breathtaking ceremony in Versilia, Tuscany.

The World Cup-winning goalkeeper, 46, exchanged vows with D’Amico on Saturday, surrounded by 250 guests, including former teammates Giorgio Chiellini, Luciano Spalletti, and Leonardo Bonucci.

Hollywood director Tim Burton and actress Monica Bellucci, who served as D’Amico’s witness, added star power to the occasion.

Buffon proposed to D’Amico in 2017, but the couple delayed their wedding until his retirement from football in August 2023.
