Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has reiterated his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu as he implements bold and necessary economic policies to revitalize Nigeria’s economy.

Speaking during a recent engagement with key political figures, Governor Otti emphasized that President Tinubu’s economic decisions, including the removal of fuel subsidies, reflect a courageous commitment to long-term national prosperity. He described the subsidy removal as a long-overdue reform, stressing that while the transition may be challenging, it is a necessary step toward economic stability and growth.

Governor Otti highlighted his longstanding alignment with President Tinubu on economic matters, noting that their shared vision for Nigeria’s financial restructuring predates their current political positions. He urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and patient as the administration works to correct years of economic mismanagement.

Furthermore, the Governor dismissed premature political discussions about the 2027 elections, urging leaders to focus on present governance and the immediate needs of the people. He reaffirmed his commitment to working collaboratively with the federal government to ensure that Abia State benefits from national economic policies and development initiatives.
