The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, today received the prestigious Premier League Trophy in a celebratory event held at the Government House in Marina, Lagos. The occasion marked a momentous recognition of Nigeria’s passionate football culture and Lagos’ growing influence in the global sports landscape.

The trophy, brought to Nigeria as part of the Premier League’s global tour, was presented by representatives of the league and its sponsor as part of an initiative to celebrate football fans around the world. Lagos, known for its vibrant sports culture and talented young athletes, was chosen as a key stop on the tour.
