Gunmen Kill Driver and Abduct Three Passengers on Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have killed a driver in a sporadic shooting and abducted three passengers on the Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road.

According to reports, four passengers sustained gunshot injuries during the incident, which occurred on Sunday evening at Longe village, near the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) in Idi Ayunre, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Witnesses revealed that the kidnappers had laid an ambush and began shooting sporadically upon sighting the approaching vehicle.
