The Howard University Board of Trustees has unanimously decided to revoke the honorary degree awarded to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in 2014, following the release of a video showing him physically assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

The university will also disband the scholarship program in Combs’ name, remove his name from all honorary degree listings, and return his $1 million contribution.

The decision aligns with Howard University’s strong stance against interpersonal violence, as stated on their website.

This move comes amid multiple lawsuits against Combs, including allegations of abuse and rape, totaling eight lawsuits since November.

The university’s actions demonstrate their commitment to upholding their core values and beliefs.
