Nigerian music star Portable has responded to claims that he would eventually turn against British-Nigerian rapper Skepta, just as he did with his former helper, Olamide.

Portable recently blasted Olamide on social media for allegedly focusing on Asake instead of him after introducing him to the industry. This led to speculation that he would also lash out at Skepta.

However, Portable took to Instagram Live to set the record straight, stating that he would never drag Skepta because the rapper has been a genuine helper. Portable credited Skepta with transforming his life, saying he’s now a British artist and a fashionista thanks to Skepta’s connections.

Portable warned critics not to twist his words and jeopardize his relationship with Skepta, emphasizing that Skepta has been a consistent source of support and guidance. He also clarified that his issue with Olamide stems from feeling undervalued and unappreciated, despite his loyalty and willingness to sign with him.
