Cubana Chief Priest has finally spoken out about the viral video showing Burna Boy gifting $30,000 to a man who claimed to be his brother. In a statement on his Instagram story, the socialite vehemently denied the claim, stating that the recipient is not his biological sibling.
According to Cubana Chief Priest, he has only one biological brother and two sisters, all of whom are doing well financially. He emphasized that he is under no obligation to support his relatives, dismissing the idea that he should be responsible for their well-being.
The controversy began when a phone repairer claimed to be Cubana Chief Priest’s brother and went viral, stating that he was struggling financially. Burna Boy subsequently pledged to give him $30,000, which he reportedly fulfilled. However, Cubana Chief Priest has now labeled the whole ordeal as a “skit,” implying that it was staged for attention and sympathy.
In his Instagram post, Cubana Chief Priest wrote a scathing message, calling out those who he believes are trying to manipulate him into supporting the alleged brother. He stated, “I have only one biological big brother & two kid sisters. They ain’t doing so bad. Regardless, I owe them nothing, na my money, make everybody find their own.” With this statement, Cubana Chief Priest has made it clear that he will not be swayed by false claims or guilt trips.
