Muhoozi Kainerugaba, son of Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni, has stirred controversy with a daring comment about popular Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr.

Recall that Ayra Starr, a Mavin Records star, gave a stunning performance at the 27th edition of Blankets and Wine in July 2024, sharing the stage with South African duo Blaq Diamond.

In a recent tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Kainerugaba claimed his late grandfather granted him the freedom to pursue any woman he desires. He went on to declare his intention to “capture” Ayra Starr.

His post read: “My late grandfather, Mzee Amos, gave me permission to get any woman on earth. I will capture that girl, Ayra Starr.”

The statement has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many questioning his audacious approach.
