Following his departure from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Idowu Iluyomade has launched a new church, Family Fellowship, located in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The church’s inaugural service took place on Sunday, January 19, marking a significant milestone in Iluyomade’s ministerial journey.
Iluyomade’s resignation from RCCG came after a period of controversy, sparked by criticism over his lavish celebration of his wife’s 60th birthday. The event was deemed insensitive due to its timing, which coincided with the tragic death of Herbert Wigwe in a helicopter crash.
With the establishment of Family Fellowship, Iluyomade is embarking on a new chapter, focused on spreading the gospel and serving his community.
