A vendor of Ilaro, a popular snack, has expressed disappointment and frustration on social media, accusing influencer Papaya Ex, Abike, of failing to attend her event despite receiving a ₦3 million payment.

According to the vendor, she had booked Papaya Ex for an appearance at her Ilaro trade fair on February 23rd and had paid the full amount in advance. However, on the day of the event, the influencer claimed she had missed her flight due to a layover.

Doubting the excuse, the vendor pointed out that Papaya Ex had shared a Snapchat video just two days earlier, showing her enjoying herself in Dubai. Feeling deceived, she demanded a full refund and vowed not to relent until she got her money back.
