Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, was arrested on October 21 at the Seme border during passport checks.

According to an immigration source, Bobrisky was detained at midnight and transferred to the Lagos zone of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in Ikeja this morning.

The source stated that Bobrisky attempted to bypass passport protocols by having someone else stamp his passport, but the officer recognized his name and asked him to step out of the vehicle.

This arrest occurs amidst an ongoing investigation into bribery allegations involving Bobrisky, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Nigerian Correctional Service, and a House of Representatives Committee.
