According to Inside History on Instagram, Iran fired several ballistic missiles at U.S. military bases in Qatar and Iraq, following recent American airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites. One of the main targets was Al Udeid Air Base, near Al-Rayyan, Qatar, recognized as a central pillar of the U.S. military strategy in the Middle East.

In response, Qatar briefly shut down its airspace, and embassies in the region issued alerts advising people to stay indoors.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said the attacks were aimed at military sites and warned the United States not to respond with further action. So far, reports say there were no serious injuries, but the situation has increased global tensions and fears of more conflict in the Middle East.
